Peltonen
From the plains of the Middle East to the Finnish forests Peltonen Knives comes from the hands of the Finnish military observer Juha-Pekka Peltonen.
The idea was born in the scorching heat of Southern Lebanon and has since adapted to the harsh conditions of the North. The Ranger Puukko has been developed with functionality in mind - as a tool for the professionals and as a trusted companion for the quality-conscious hunters and adventurers. While working as a military observer in Lebanon, JP Peltonen gets his hands on an American military knife.
The weight, usability and balance of the knife are in a class of their own and make a deep impression on Mr. Peltonen. The idea of a knife with similar characteristics, but suited to the conditions of the North, remains smoldering in his mind. Thus began the story of Peltonen Knives and its long journey from the plains of the Middle East to the Finnish forests.

Peltonen Knives - M23 Ranger Cub Naranja - FJP308 - Cuchillo Puukko
El cuchillo M23 Ranger Cub tiene una hoja de acero al carbono de 6,5 cm con un filo endurecido por inducción a 62 HRC. Recuerde que el acero al carbono siempre requiere algunos cuidados, así que mantenga la hoja limpia y lávela y séquela después de cada uso. También puede aplicar un poco de aceite a la hoja de vez en cuando. Con el cuidado adecuado, la corrosión se mantiene a raya y la hoja permanece intacta.
El material de la empuñadura es TPV, vulcanizado termoplástico, un tipo de material plástico similar al caucho que resiste el desgaste, los impactos, los productos químicos y las variaciones de temperatura casi indefinidamente. El agarre se mantiene seguro incluso en condiciones húmedas.
Gracias a la funda de Kydex, el cuchillo puede llevarse fácilmente en el cinturón en posición horizontal.
